Heather Clark

Chief Administrative Officer

Heather Clark has played a pivotal role in Avarion’s (Formerly known as Huntzinger Management Group) growth and success since joining the company in 2008. With nearly 20 years of experience in business operations, human resources, and organizational leadership, she was instrumental in building the foundational infrastructure and processes that continue to support the organization’s long-term success. As one of Avarion’s first employees, she remains deeply committed to its mission to advance clients’ IT capabilities to deliver the best patient care.


In her leadership role, Heather is deeply engaged in workforce strategy and operational planning, driving continuous improvement in how Avarion delivers value to its clients. Her leadership also spans risk management, regulatory compliance, total rewards strategy, policy, and performance management.


A respected leader in both business and her community, Heather currently serves as Past-President and Board Member of the NEPA Society for Human Resource Management, where she previously held the presidency for six years. She also served on the Pennsylvania SHRM State Council and currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she sits on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for Skills in Scranton, a workforce development affiliate of the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce.


Heather also serves on the school board for her local public school district, a role she has held since 2023. In this capacity, she is actively involved in several committees including Policy and Safe Schools.


An avid outdoorswoman with a strong commitment to conservation, Heather supports food insecurity and environmental sustainability through her board service with Hunters Sharing the Harvest (HSH), a nonprofit that distributes donated venison to food banks across Pennsylvania.


Heather holds a Master of Science in Organizational Management and Human Resources from Misericordia University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Marywood University. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She also holds credentials in business communication, inclusive workplace culture, veterans employment, and workplace mental health. Heather’s professional passion centers on leadership development, strategic talent engagement, mentorship, and building high-performing teams. She has a proven track record of cultivating strong, collaborative teams that deliver measurable results. Heather is especially passionate about training and mentoring others, helping them grow into confident, capable leaders.


Heather’s most cherished title is mom. She lives in Northeast Pennsylvania with her husband and two children and proudly considers being their biggest supporter her greatest privilege.
