Dave DiChiara
Chief Financial Officer
David DiChiara serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Avarion (Formerly known as Huntzinger Management Group), with over 25 years of experience with a proven track record of driving fiscal discipline, operational efficiency, and enterprise growth. As a key member of the executive team, David is responsible for shaping the company’s financial vision, guiding long-term planning, and stewarding resources to maximize shareholder value and business performance.
David leads all financial functions at Avarion, including strategic financial planning and analysis, corporate budgeting, capital management, treasury operations, accounting, and enterprise risk oversight. He plays a vital role in evaluating mergers and acquisitions, managing cash flow and liquidity, and identifying investment opportunities to fuel sustainable growth. He is also instrumental in optimizing financial infrastructure, implementing data-driven performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
A collaborative and forward-thinking leader, David works cross-functionally with senior executives to align financial goals with business objectives. He provides strategic counsel on key business decisions, helps drive operational excellence through financial insight, and supports the company’s growth strategy by enhancing scalability, profitability, and competitive positioning.
Before joining Avarion, David held senior leadership positions at Chrysler Financial, where he successfully managed a high-value automobile wholesale portfolio across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. He also oversaw diverse financial portfolios, including revolving credit lines, capital investments, and real estate loans, sharpening his acumen for managing complex assets, evaluating financial risk, and identifying market trends.
David is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He holds an MBA in Finance from Iona College and a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, David is committed to community service, volunteering his financial expertise to local nonprofit organizations by serving on their finance councils and supporting fiscal stewardship in the nonprofit sector.
